On 31 August 2026, INFOR reached another important milestone. Tang Lijun, Secretary-General of the Dongguan Battery Industry Association, led a delegation to INFOR's Songshan Lake headquarters for an on-site visit and in-depth discussions, and formally presented INFOR with the plaque of vice president member unit of the association. This is not only recognition of status but also a weighty expression of industry trust and responsibility.
Visiting INFOR: from Songshan Lake to the world
That afternoon, accompanied by General Manager Ms. Yang Xiaoyan and the core management team, Secretary-General Tang and his delegation toured the company's headquarters and product showroom. Using physical exhibits and digital dashboards, Ms. Yang presented the company's development since its founding in 1999, the evolution of its products and its global presence.
Ms. Yang said that INFOR has always focused on independent R&D and deep technical expertise. Starting in Dongguan, building a 104-mu (about 6.9-hectare) intelligent manufacturing base in Xiangyang, Hubei, and establishing subsidiaries in Korea and India with a service network covering more than 30 countries and regions, INFOR has in over twenty years transformed from an equipment manufacturer into a global provider of complete production line solutions for new materials.
In-depth dialogue: shared technical vision and values
At the following meeting, INFOR's managers gave the delegation a detailed presentation of the company's technology architecture, R&D investment, capacity planning and strategic direction. The two sides had a productive discussion on battery industry technology trends, domestic substitution of equipment and collaborative innovation along the supply chain.
Secretary-General Tang highly praised INFOR's path of rooting itself in Dongguan and focusing on innovation. He said that as battery materials keep evolving and manufacturing processes keep improving, companies like INFOR, with in-house core equipment development and a global service outlook, are exactly the kind of strength the association needs.
Joining the association as a vice president member
After in-depth communication and a comprehensive assessment, INFOR's overall strength won strong recognition from Secretary-General Tang and the association, which formally invited INFOR to join the Dongguan Battery Industry Association as a vice president member unit.
The Dongguan Battery Industry Association was founded on 22 November 2016 by 13 industry organizations including ATL, Dongguan Zhenhua New Energy, Chuangming Battery, Guangdong Zhengye Technology and Langtaitong. It now has more than 300 members, including leading domestic and international battery technology companies, large listed new energy companies, battery material developers, battery equipment manufacturers and developers of intelligent and automated battery systems. Through industry forums, technical seminars, exhibitions and financing events, the association promotes technological progress and industrial upgrading in Dongguan's battery industry.
Becoming a vice president member marks INFOR's move from industry participant to industry co-builder. It recognizes INFOR's technical strength and contribution to the industry and means INFOR will play a greater role in standard setting, technical exchange and supply chain collaboration.

As a vice president member, INFOR will cooperate closely with the Dongguan Battery Industry Association in technical exchange, standard setting, supply chain matchmaking and market development to promote high-quality development of Dongguan's battery industry.
