INFOR Hosts Closed-Door Meeting on Taking Coatings Businesses to Bangladesh

INFOR hosted dozens of coatings and ink business leaders at its Songshan Lake headquarters to share practical experience on entering Bangladesh and present its global service network.

On 4 July 2026, a closed-door meeting for coatings and ink business leaders on expanding into Bangladesh concluded at INFOR's Songshan Lake headquarters. Dozens of partners and industry peers from across the supply chain discussed new opportunities in South Asia in a relaxed, lively atmosphere.

Learning from the pioneers

Under the theme "Walking with the Pioneers, Seizing South Asia's New Blue Ocean", the meeting addressed the questions companies care most about when going abroad. Unlike general forums, it was packed with practical content: real experience and pitfalls in the Bangladeshi market, industry opportunities and real profit margins, complete-plant solutions and local service systems. Speakers shared years of front-line insight, giving participants a clear, actionable roadmap.

INFOR leading the way

As host, INFOR's Yang Xiaoyan chaired the meeting and gave the opening keynote. Starting from "why go abroad and how", she analysed the stable policy dividends and inclusive business environment Bangladesh offers for cooperation with China and described INFOR's local industry connections, supply-chain capabilities and one-stop implementation services. She stressed that coatings and inks are essential industrial and consumer materials with lasting, growing demand driven by Bangladesh's urbanization and manufacturing, and that now is the best window to invest. Her talk was highly praised and strengthened many companies' resolve to visit the country.

Multiple perspectives

Several senior customers in coatings and chemicals shared their experience in product localization, channel building and brand promotion; an exhibition company advised on using international shows to attract business and make connections; and service providers offered practical solutions for line planning, environmental compliance, logistics and customs. The discussion was practical and inspiring, and participants engaged actively on their own challenges.

Seeing INFOR's capabilities

After the meeting, Ms. Yang led guests on a tour of INFOR's Songshan Lake showroom, presenting core product lines, intelligent production equipment, key customer cases and company milestones. She also presented INFOR's global service network: besides Bangladesh, INFOR has established customer relationships and local service points in Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Spain, Morocco, Oman, the United States and elsewhere. Guests praised INFOR's technical depth and global operating capability.

Continuing to build in a blue-ocean market

Bangladesh, with stable cooperation with China and an inclusive business environment, is emerging as a strategic destination for Chinese companies. INFOR will continue to use its platform to help more partners enter the market safely and smoothly with precise solutions and fast local response, and will keep expanding its global service network.

Distance is no barrier for those who share a goal. The meeting was both a sharing of knowledge and experience and a starting signal for action. The path ahead is clear, and INFOR looks forward to setting out with all its partners.
