Information you give us
When you send an inquiry, we collect the details you enter: first and last name, email address, company, country, the product you are interested in and your project description.
With the inquiry we also receive where your first visit came from: the page you first landed on, the referring website, campaign tags (UTM) and ad click IDs, and the date of that visit. Your browser keeps this information for 90 days and sends it only if you submit an inquiry.
AI assistant
If you use the INFOR AI chat, the text you type and the page language are sent to the Xiaomi MiMo language-model service to generate an answer. We keep a record of chat conversations (your questions, our answers, the page you were on, the page language and your approximate country) for up to 180 days, so that our team can review them and improve our answers. Only authorised INFOR staff can see these records, and they are deleted automatically after 180 days. Please do not enter personal or confidential information in the chat; use the inquiry form if you want us to contact you.
Usage statistics and technical data
We use self-hosted, cookie-free analytics (Umami) to count page views, referring websites, device and browser types and approximate country. These statistics are aggregated and are not used to identify you.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records page views and page-load performance (such as loading speed) without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
Like any website, our server and our content delivery network (Cloudflare) process your IP address and browser information to deliver pages, block abuse and limit excessive requests.
How we use information
We use inquiry details to reply to you, prepare recommendations, material tests and quotations, and follow up on your request. We use source information to understand which channels bring inquiries, and usage statistics to improve the website.
We do not sell your information and do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Where information is stored and who processes it
The website and its inquiry database run on a server in the United States, together with our customer-relationship (CRM) system. Our sales and engineering staff in China access inquiries to answer them.
Service providers that process data for us: Cloudflare (content delivery, security and web analytics) and Xiaomi MiMo (AI chat answers). The video on our home page is hosted on YouTube: it loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you click play, and YouTube then processes your data under its own privacy policy. If YouTube cannot be reached from your network, the same video plays from our own server instead. If you contact us through WhatsApp or LinkedIn, those services handle your messages under their own privacy policies.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website stores two small items in your browser: the first-visit source information described above (90 days) and a flag that skips the opening animation during your visit. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and our business relationship, and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email sales@inforintl.com and we will respond. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is intended for business customers and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
