On 25-26 June 2026, the 4th China International Sodium-Ion Battery Technology and Market Development Forum was held. Seen as a bellwether for sodium-ion industrialization, the forum, themed "Focusing on the First Year of Industrialization, Expanding Large-Scale Applications", brought together hundreds of professionals from industry, academia, research and users.
The forum gathered an all-star line-up of more than 30 leading scholars and industry leaders, with talks covering cathode and anode materials, electrolytes and separators, cell design, intelligent manufacturing, system integration, and energy storage and power battery applications. Participants ranged from university laboratory teams to the leaders of mass-production companies, linking the whole supply chain and bridging research and engineering.
A strong presence and major new agreements
As a leading provider of ultrafine grinding and dispersion, a key step in sodium-ion material production, INFOR presented its high-end bead mills and complete sodium-ion line solutions. Its clean, high-tech booth attracted wave after wave of experts and company representatives, and our team discussed grinding efficiency, particle size control, line energy optimization and intelligent maintenance in depth. Many visitors arrived with real problems and left with workable solutions.
The booth won wide praise and real business: INFOR had just signed a new large-line equipment agreement with a leading Chinese sodium-ion company, deepening its role in 10,000-tonne sodium-ion material projects, and reached cooperation intentions or firm orders with several other leading companies across materials, cells and recycling.

The explosive growth of sodium-ion batteries is pushing upstream equipment to evolve, from kilogram-scale laboratory work to 10,000-tonne single lines and from batch grinding to continuous intelligent production, with unprecedented demands on precision, life, consistency and digitalization. INFOR drives both technical depth and real-world application, and the agreements signed at the forum validate both its products and its model of co-developing with customers.
