Dongguan Industry Bureau, Dongguan Daily and Tsinghua Institute Visit INFOR

Officials from the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Dongguan Daily and the Tsinghua research institute visited INFOR's Songshan Lake headquarters to learn about its development and needs.

On 24 April, officials from the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Dongguan Daily and the Tsinghua research institute visited INFOR's headquarters in Songshan Lake.

Led by Director Liu of the bureau, the visit aimed to communicate the latest government and park guidance, understand the company's current development, hear its practical needs and discuss next steps in government-business cooperation, resource matching and publicity. INFOR General Manager Yang Xiaoyan and the core management team welcomed the delegation.

On-site visit and policy support

At around 10 a.m., Director Liu and the delegation toured INFOR's office area and product showroom. Using exhibits and digital displays, Ms. Yang described the company's history, core product system and domestic and international market presence. She explained that INFOR has always focused on independent R&D and has achieved a series of breakthroughs in high-end grinding equipment and carbon materials equipment this year, with products widely used by leading customers across several industries and expanding steadily overseas.

Director Liu praised INFOR for its roots in Dongguan and its focus on innovation. He said the bureau pays close attention to the needs of high-growth local technology companies, and the visit aimed to communicate support policies and industrial guidance accurately, help companies make full use of support measures and collect practical difficulties for coordinated support.

An open discussion

At the following meeting, INFOR presented its technical architecture, R&D investment, capacity plans and three-year strategic goals. The delegation praised INFOR's clear business logic and pragmatic pace of development. Dongguan Daily's leaders and reporters asked Ms. Yang about the company's core competitiveness, strategies for industry fluctuations and brand building, and she shared INFOR's experience in talent retention, supply-chain optimization and customer service.

Ms. Yang said: "As a technology-driven company, we know innovation cannot happen behind closed doors. Policy guidance from government, communication support from the media and intellectual support from research institutions are all essential to a company's growth." She thanked the bureau for its long-standing support, Dongguan Daily for its attention to local companies and the Tsinghua institute for its platform for industry-academia-research cooperation.

Video interview on innovation

After the meeting, the Tsinghua institute filmed an interview with Ms. Yang about how INFOR is using Dongguan's intelligent manufacturing ecosystem to grow quickly and how it is positioning itself for digital transformation. The interview will feature in the institute's "Greater Bay Area Innovation" series across multiple platforms.

A new starting point

The joint visit was both a review of INFOR's progress and a boost for its future. INFOR will use it as an opportunity to upgrade its brand strategy, connect more actively with government and industry resources, integrate into Dongguan's intelligent industry cluster, keep investing in R&D and expand its markets, with the aim of becoming a standout name in intelligent manufacturing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

INFOR will continue to follow its principles of technology-based growth and open cooperation and, with the support of government and society, move toward broader high-quality development.
