From 26 to 28 August 2026, the Asia Pacific Coatings Show (APCS) 2026 was held at the Jakarta International Expo in Indonesia. One of the longest-running and most influential coatings events in Asia Pacific, this year's show brought together more than 170 exhibiting brands from over 10 countries across more than 8,500 square metres and attracted tens of thousands of trade visitors.
International leaders such as BASF, Bühler, WAB Group and NETZSCH exhibited alongside leading Chinese companies such as Wanhua Chemical and Skshu, and the concurrent ChemTalks technical forum offered insights into cutting-edge formulations and processes. At this event focused on Asia Pacific with global reach, INFOR presented a well-designed booth showcasing the technical strength and process expertise of Chinese grinding equipment.

A compact booth with complete solutions
At the show INFOR presented its complete grinding solutions, focusing on its core equipment range for coatings and covering the whole process: feeding and dosing, dispersion and grinding, let-down and mixing, filtration and filling, utilities and automation. Whether for industrial coatings, waterborne coatings, inks, colour pastes or pigments, INFOR provides one-stop solutions.

Interest at the INFOR booth kept growing. Coatings producers, raw material suppliers and technical experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries stopped by, showing strong interest in the grinding fineness, productivity, energy efficiency and intelligent control of INFOR equipment. The technical team discussed process challenges with customers on the spot, demonstrating the professionalism and responsiveness of a Chinese equipment brand.

Deepening our presence in Southeast Asia
Over three days INFOR strengthened cooperation with existing customers and reached preliminary cooperation intentions with several new customers from Indonesia and neighbouring countries. Customers particularly praised INFOR's technology for green production and energy saving, confirming that the Southeast Asian market is rapidly shifting from chasing volume to improving quality and reducing energy consumption.

2026 is the year INFOR's internationalization strategy is accelerating across the board. The company plans to take part in more than 10 international exhibitions and summits across Asia, Europe, Africa and North America, covering coatings, batteries, energy storage, mining and electric vehicles. From Korea to Japan, Vietnam to Russia and Germany to Indonesia, INFOR is bringing the innovation of Chinese grinding equipment to the world through frequent, focused global activity.

Seizing the policy window to explore new markets together
Data show that the Asia Pacific coatings market reached USD 7.3 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to USD 11.5 billion by 2034. As Southeast Asia's largest economy and a core coatings market in Asia Pacific, Indonesia is driven by both urbanization and infrastructure investment. With the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 in force and 98% of tariff lines between China and Indonesia at zero tariff, Chinese coatings equipment companies have an excellent policy window for going abroad.

The Jakarta trip has ended successfully, but INFOR's global journey continues. We will keep building on technology and quality to show the world the strength of Chinese grinding on more international stages.
