On 23 April 2026, the 2026 GGII Solid-State Battery Technology and Application Summit, organized by GGII Lithium and the GGII Industry Research Institute, was held in Hangzhou, with the industrialization of solid-state batteries again in the spotlight.

Under the theme "Application Rollout · Mass-Production Breakthrough", the summit brought together more than 300 leading companies and over 400 senior executives from the lithium battery supply chain to discuss the core challenges, technical routes and ecosystem changes on the way from laboratory to mass production.

High-end grinding, advanced equipment
As a representative of core solid-state battery equipment, INFOR presented its complete solid electrolyte grinding system solution and, on the strength of its technical depth and market results, won the Solid-State Battery Equipment Technology Innovation Pioneer Award.

Solving four pain points
Solid electrolyte production has long faced world-class process challenges: difficult ultrafine grinding, easy oxidation of materials, strict explosion-protection requirements and poor batch consistency. These pain points directly limit the pace and yield of solid-state battery mass production.

To address them, INFOR presented its in-house solid electrolyte production line solution, which through systematic process design and key equipment innovation delivers:
· Ultrafine grinding: meeting demanding nano-scale particle size distribution requirements
· Oxidation protection: inert atmosphere throughout the process to preserve material activity
· Explosion-proof equipment design: safe production for sensitive electrolyte systems such as sulfides
· Material consistency: much greater batch-to-batch stability, paving the way for mass production

The solution attracted many solid-state battery experts and company representatives, and the INFOR booth was busy throughout. INFOR established close contacts with several customers and agreed on the spot that several companies would visit the factory for trial runs.

Award recognition
At the awards ceremony that evening, INFOR received the Solid-State Battery Equipment Technology Innovation Pioneer Award for its technical breakthroughs and industrialization results. Jointly selected by GGII Lithium and the GGII Industry Research Institute, the award recognizes companies with outstanding innovation and market impact in solid-state battery equipment, confirmation of INFOR's sustained R&D and growing recognition of its solutions in the mainstream market.

INFOR has established deep cooperation with several leading solid-state battery companies, with mature equipment solutions and extensive production line experience. It will continue its technology-driven strategy, keep improving its products and customer service, and work with more partners to move solid-state batteries from the laboratory to large-scale commercial production.

Innovation and growth
The future is here, and now is the time for the mass-production breakthrough. INFOR will keep innovating in key solid-state battery equipment to support the high-quality development of the industry.
