Built for pilot-stage homogenizing, the WH-PILOT runs on a 5.5 kW drive, handles high-viscosity materials and particle-laden systems, and covers 20-40 L/h at up to 1500 bar. The wider series extends to 300 L/h for process scale-up ahead of full production.

Frequently asked questions
Which materials can the Pilot High-Pressure Homogenizer Series process?
The Pilot High-Pressure Homogenizer Series is used for single-wall carbon nanotubes, graphene, biopharmaceuticals, food processing, cosmetics, new materials, dispersion and emulsification and cell disruption. Whether it suits a new material depends on solids content, viscosity, hardness and whether the slurry is water- or solvent-based; send the material data sheet and target particle size and INFOR's engineers will assess it.
Which model of the Pilot High-Pressure Homogenizer Series should I choose?
The series has 5 models (WH-PILOT, WH-PILOT16, WH-PILOT22, WH12-150, WH12-300) with motor power of 5.5-11 kW. All share the same grinding principle and fineness range, so the model is chosen by required throughput: the recipe is proven on the smallest chamber, then the production size is calculated from the validated flow rate.
What are the main design features of the Pilot High-Pressure Homogenizer Series?
Main design features of the Pilot High-Pressure Homogenizer Series: Combines laboratory flexibility with production reliability, lowering the risk and time of scale-up; High-power drive handles high-viscosity, hard and fine-particle materials for stable homogenizing; 7-inch colour touch screen for real-time setting and monitoring of pressure and flow; 316 or higher-grade stainless steel, with wear- and corrosion-resistant materials at key parts for long continuous runs.
