Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series

Bench-top high-pressure homogenizers with up to 2000 bar design pressure, for nano dispersion, emulsification and cell disruption from 20 ml samples.

Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series
Design pressure
up to 2000 bar
Working pressure
0-1500 bar
Minimum sample
20-40 ml
Feed particle size
<500 µm
Feed temperature
<90 °C
Overview

Built for research laboratories and small-batch work, the laboratory series uses a reciprocating plunger to push material through an adjustable homogenizing valve under strong compression. Cavitation, impact and shear break up agglomerates and disperse the material evenly, from minimum sample volumes of 20-40 ml.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which materials can the Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series process?

The Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series is used for single-wall carbon nanotubes, graphene, materials science, new energy, chemical engineering, synthetic biology, cosmetics and food and beverage. Whether it suits a new material depends on solids content, viscosity, hardness and whether the slurry is water- or solvent-based; send the material data sheet and target particle size and INFOR's engineers will assess it.

Which model of the Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series should I choose?

The Laboratory High-Pressure Homogenizer Series is supplied as a single configuration, so selection means confirming it matches your material, target particle size and hourly output, which INFOR verifies on laboratory or pilot equipment before the machine is confirmed.
