The plasma DC arc growth system combines a high-frequency DC plasma generator, a plasma catalytic-cracking growth reactor, an operator console, rapid gas replacement, water-mist collection and a complete cooling system. A high-frequency discharge between the top electrode and the furnace-bottom electrode turns electrical energy into heat at 5000-7000 °C. Together with high-purity active gas, the plasma arc vaporises the catalyst, which sublimes and reacts with a highly active carbon source in the floating furnace chamber to grow nano-carbon. Feeding is semi-automatic and discharge is fully automatic through the matching collection system.
